Bench seat conversion

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by fireinthehole, Dec 9, 2002.

I got some bucket seats from a 86 Sub to put in my 90 model. The seats are complete, but I need the brackets that mount to the floor. Are the brackets different on a Blazer/Jimmy with bucket seats. I can get some from a Blazer, but didnt know if they were different.

    Thanks

Subs floors are different from Blazers. So I'm thinking that you are putting the buckets in a Sub??And not into a K/5?You will need seat brackets out of Burb or pick up.Mike

The pickup brackets should also be different. The PU floor raises slightly toward the rear and the Suburban floor slopes down. When I put the seats out of a 80s Suburban into my 79 truck I had to bend the rear of the brackets up to get them to fit.
