Okay, here it goes, if you can do say like 25 push-ups or something, does that mean you can benchpress your weight 25 times? Or am I missing something? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    No, he's not.

When you do a push up without your legs elevated, you're only using about 40% of your body weight if you're doing a pushup correctly. If not, you're not even using that much.

In order to be able to say you could military press your body weight, I'd say you'd have to be capable of quite a few handstand pushups.

I don't really understand what it is, your in a handstand mode doing push-ups? So your feet would be pointing to the roof and going up and down? Do you lean against the wall or how do you do it? That is friggen crazy!

another way to tell your strength is to do pullups but dont cheat yourself go all the way up and down. Now you will be lifting your weight.

Are pull ups the same as chin ups?
