I would like to make a set of headers and a stainless exhaust. Anyone know if you can bend thinwall (16g about) in a tubing bender without kinking. I have heard that filling the tube with sand before bending can help?!? Just wanted to know before I blew a wad of cash on the tubing and the new dies for my bender

Mandrals are the best why to do that, but you had better have a strong bender. Mandrals put up to 3 times more presure on everything and is alot harder to do. The sand in the tube would be your best deal, but that still puts alot pressure on your bender and it's dies.
