OKay guys, I am going to attempt to rebuild me defunct 700R4 tranny (actually when we took it out, the pan was clean except for the burnt fluid, so maybe most of the hard parts are in good shape?!?!) My question is, who should I get a rebuild kit from? I was a rebuild that will LAST a while...I was looking at TCI and <a target="_blank" href=http://coloradok5.com/gallery/fortcollinsram>My 87 Blazer

Mine got rebuilt and the flywheel, sun shell and planetary gears were shot. That's an extra $300. You never know about hard parts till you pull it open. TCI and JET have good rebuild kits, either one should do the job.

I'd go with the TCI. They have good stuff
