It looks like it's time to replace a couple of my glow plugs? Last time around the local parts store only stocked Champion GPs so that's what I installed. I'm just curious if there is any difference between brands as far as quality and longevity go.

Price isn't really an issue. I'm always willing to pay more for a better quality, time-proven product. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

AC 60G glow plugs are the best I know of. They are a constant duty GP unlike the 11G's, 9G's etc etc. The only drawback is they take a little longer to heat up than the 9's and 11's, so you might need to use a manual glow button. I let mine glow for 8-12 seconds when cold...

As far as I know they will not mushroom and get stuck in the head though.

    Quick heats from www.kennedydiesel.com

They won't burn out and heat quick like the old 9s. John Kennedy hooked one up and let it burn for hours and it didn't melt or burn out.
