Isn't there a truck stop somewhere in Delta park? Jubitz or something like that? I have to go there anyway today. They're usually cheaper than other places.

D&R Communications down in Clackamas does good work and is highly respected through the Bushhackers. Did 3 jobs for me over the past few years without problem. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

If you get a good radio you will want to tune the SWR (Standing Wave Ratio or reflected power) to the lowest on average over the whole band or it will burn out the finals. Most CB shops can do this for you very reasonably. This will also give you the best reception and range with the setup.

I bought my radio, wire and antenna there and they tweaked it for free/cost of install included. Don't remember what I paid since it's been a while. I do know it was reasonable and they are pro's at it - CB's/radios are all they do. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
