The entire hoods are around $400, but I don't think just the scoops are that much /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

These guys do great work but be forwarned, it took my 3 months to get a hood for my 1973 chevy vega. And i called them EVERY Day for the last month. I Was not impressed with the service but i would thing the scoops are already made and would ship quickly.

Think I'll pass on the Ebay ones. No name brand. It could be "Joe" making his own stuff /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Found a place in Florida MP motorsports They have some good prices. $85 shipped for the one I'm looking at.
Shipping on any full hood really kills the deal

As a side note, there is a company advertised in the back of Car Craft that sells metal hood scoops and cowls. Cut the hole in the hood, push the scoop through the back side, tack weld it, then braze it in from the top side. No pesky cracking or fear of flexing the hood too much and have it bust loose.

if you are looking for a fiberglass scoop, or even full hood, advantagefiberglass.com seems pretty cool. i was thinking of ordering one from them myself. they are definitely the cheapest i've seen.

[/ QUOTE ]NO !!!! Just cut a hole in the hood and let that SUPERCHARGER stick out for the whole world to see. They're too pretty to hide under a hood scoop !!!!

So anyway, the hood scoop arrived today and looks great..especially for $50 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It looks like a very good quality piece with a nice strong mounting flange. Damn thing is pretty heavy for being a 3" cowl fiberglass scoop. Advantage Fiberglass gets /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif from me
