My battery died. I had planned to get an Optima. Not sure where the best price is...

Really just interested in something that quits corroding all the time... = GEL CELL

Sam's club?
Cost-Co?
4WPW?
Other 4Wheel parts stores?
Kragen's generic SPIRAL battery?

Anyone else?

TIA

A guy from ORC was selling them for $135 with free shipping a couple of months ago. He might still be willing to do the deal, his email is jdepratt@kiotiparts.com

Yellows are usually more than the Red tops. I run two red tops and one of them I have had in there for....hmmmmm.....shoot I think 6yrs now! wow time flys!
I wouldn't pay more than 120 fer a red top.
Good luck and I hope you make it to the 'Con!

It looks like Kragen is my "best bet".

They have their "orbital" (or something) for $129.99

Dual posts only 690CCA 800CA /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

However it does have a 2 year free replacement. And 84 months warranty!

The best part, for me, I can go to any Kragen to replace it. Although I doubt that will happen, as I have had my RED Top in my p-car for five years now.

I might get the yellow top from Crawlin40 when the funds are more readily available, and winch is in the works.. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I gotta' get a brake line replaced (UGH brake work), battery replaced (easy), and sliders installed (welding- god help me!).

Get the final funds $50 or so approved from the g/f... then I am at the 'CON. I hope to GOD I don't break anything, cuz I can't afford it!
