Best shocks and tires for a 4\" lift?

I'm in the process of doing a rear shackle flip and 4"front springs. i'm throwing a 1" ORD body lift in there just so i can get the bigger meats under there. so i was just wondering opinions on the best shocks for my application, daily driver taken off road pretty regularly. thanks in advance.

i like the rancho rs9,000's because you can set them firm or stiff so you could go soft for daily and stiffer for wheeling[IMG]

I run RS5000s now...they pretty much suck. I will be getting some long travel ProComp 3000s pretty soon (after the shackle flip install which begins on x-mas day!).

I agree RS9000s are great shocks, they also come at a $pendy price. Us budget-minded wheelers like to save dough where we can. =)

What rancho 9000 would be the best for the rear ? (without any shock mount mods) And to answer your question, I would get 35 inch tires but that will require some trimming when you flex.

Go with doestech shocks. They are nice and soft. As for tires if its driven on the street then go with 35" Goodyear MTRs. I have had mine for a while and they have gone through alot of crap and no problems yet including rolling the truck.
