I think the Gabrial LT shocks with the VST valving are the best shock you can get for around $30.00 ea. They will fit up to a 4" lift. I like them a lot better than the Rancho RS5000s that I use to run on my K5. They ride a lot better. And really smooth out the washboard roads I drive on.
The Pro comp 3000 are made by Rancho. I think they are the same as the RS 5000s They are a good well made shock but ride a little stiff.

I like my Heckethorns. They have both their Hydro 8000 (which is what I have) and their Nitro 9000 for less than $40. I am pleased with mine. Good on-road driving and off-road performance.

Send Pugsley a pm...he got some sweet Doetsch Tech's for under $40 and they were pretty badass sounding. 13+ inches of travel. i got the pn#'s off him, but he know's way more about them than I do.

The ES3000 are repackaged Rancho 5000's. Same shock, different sticker. I got the 14" extention ES3000s for about $130 for all 4.
