It's the Tire swing on steroids.

4X4 .250 wall square tubing with parts from my old 12 bolt to make the pivoting and rotating hanger. PURE BEEF!!!!

It's the best use of a 37" Goodyear tire I have ever seen. :D

I'm not sure how heavy it is but it weighs a TON!! Thanks to Jason for helping me install it. Without him I would probably have gotten a damn hernia

The best part about it is that it was just about free. I had all the steel left over from soe of my jobs and the tire was ruined anyways. Only thing I had to pay for was the rope and hooks at the top. Everything else I had. :cool1:

It a bearing and race out of the pinion of a 12 bolt. I put the race with the taper down on a flat piece of steel and then placd the bearing inside. That way I can not come out. Then I got an axle shaft from the same 12 bolt and cut a 6inch peice out of it and welded on end to teh bearing and the other end to the triangle. And that's all. The bearing moves freely inside the race and roatates at tha same time. :D

Very cool. My 2 year old needs a swing and I've been wanting to learn to weld. :)
