I haven't been following, the CK5 coats would be Carhartt???? I'd buy one in an instant! The last 4 coats I've had were Carhartts and I'll never buy anything else. Have one thin one thats not quite as warm but cuts the wind and is great for say working on a truck outside. Have a thick one thats just plain WARM /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I love them.

carhardts are work clothes, very heavy duty. some people think they are pimp... i personally think they are really dorky, unless you are physically workin on a job site. others think they are the coolest clothes ever, never work in them, just wear them while cruising to the mall in their 24" rim equipped escalade with 2kW sound system. IMO, thats like wearing a hardhat to the mall.. but like I always say, to each their own...

Ya, on a job site, why on earth would i wear a heavy duty coat and pants that are bullet proof and fire proof at my back driveway when im torching, cutting, impacting, and rolling in the gravel [IMG] that would be DUMB [IMG]

I got my first Carhart in 86 while in High School. I used for working at the local ski resort in Upstate NY. I still have it and love it. I only use it for camping as I have been requested to stop wearing it out o dinner and on family outings. Apparently the grease stains and fraid cuffs are in style. I guess I'll keep it and maybe it'll be in style someday!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
