Now thats a Typhoon motor swap I can understand. I hate seeing Tys with 350s and especially when converted to RWD only.

I don't know. Doesn't the Quadra Duce run a 383 putting out 600hp and doing 0-60 in 2 something seconds? It takes off so hard it's painful they say. I want to know who built the tranny.

I always thought it would be cool to take an Olds Bravada and make my own Typhoon. The ugly grill would have to go. Beef up the tranny. Put a Vortech supercharger and an intercooler on the 4.3. add some healty exhaust and tighten up the suspention and add some rims and tires. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Better yet, fuel injected blown small block in an S10 or S10 Blazer with the Bravada transfer case. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The AWD t-case is an easy find... its the same animal used in the Astro/Safari. Probably get the front axle too... its full-time also so it doesn't have the vacuum actuated BS.

My bro took a '93 S10 x-cab 4x4 and coverted it to AWD this way.

I'm wanting to take a 96 AWD astro with a 6cyl and a cheap 2wd newer body style s-10 or s-blazer and do the AWD swap /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
Then twin turbos on a vortec v-6 /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
    I've seen the setup on a 350 /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif lingenfelter-vet (sp?)

    this body kit
    front rear
Black with blue metallic ghost flames and tinted euro tail lights, blackout kit on front and just to bring in a little Ty feel, black GMC or a Black bowtie in the grill

you have to start with a 4x4 S10. I might do this, I've been planning to build my sister a 2wd s10 with a 350 for her first vehicle but that will be too dangerous and bad in the weather, an AWD S10 Blazer with 350 would be a better choice I think. Have an S10 Blazer just need the transfer case.
