Real Estate liscensing exam test is over. They take 150 questions out of a pool of 1500. So basically I had to learn 1500 facts to something I knew nothing about a month ago. Thats a ton of cramming. I think I did ok. I have to get 70% to pass. I'll get my results later this week. I studied a couple to a few hours every other day (as told to by my teacher) I got my info down pretty good. But there were a lot of trickey questions.
I plan on being a real estate agent for a couple years, then a broker. But my wife and I are really planning on getting into real estate investment.
    Thanks for your support guys.

Just be glad you get the results so quick. It took them two and a half months to get the results of my professional engineering exam back to me. The test was only 80 questions, multiple choice that was scored by a computer and it took two and a half months.:doah:

Good luck and hope ya passed.

Congrats! I took the Series 7 Registered Rep (Stockbroker) test last year (6 hours!), then had to also take the Series 66 Registered Investment Advisor (2 hours), the Life Insurance (1 hour) and Health Insurance (1 hour) tests. I was pretty wiped out by the time I was done with all of that! :yikes:

Now get out there and get some listings! ;)

Oh yeah, the computer scored my tests instantly, so I at least knew right away how I had done. :cool1: Waiting would suck!

    thanks for the link!
I liked this quote "We're going to continue having people leave the business. The good ones will stay. Those that can't make it are going to leave." Its not that I plan on being a sales person my whole life. Its that I AM doing something related to real estate for my life's work. I'm not scared. Of the thousands of applicants every year, 90% stop selling their first year after 2 sales (something like that is what my teacher told me). I'm a good person, and people can relate to me. I'm honest and really care about helping people. I know I'll be a good sales person. But my goal is to not have to work hardly at all and when I do have children, be home and help raise them. :)

"the county's real estate board reports that 75% of its members do one or fewer transactions a year. " from the link

I have a BIL that is a natural at RE sales. Last year he sold 21 properties, with an average sales price of $721K. That was his 2nd year in the business... :cool1: He talks to EVERYONE that he sees and is just one of those likable people. So yeah, there is some money to be made. :)
