I guess bikes are pretty common in and around Moab. Any special considerations?

Dirt bikes are a great way to get around and I always see them there. During easter it is the only way to get around quickly.

In state registration is probably needed. I don't know why offroad vehicles are different than on highway but they are.

I'm getting a street legal bike and if I get it before the Bash, it's coming with, so there shouldn't be any problems with the local constabulary. If there is, I'll just show those tightass Mormon brethren of mine what "Panhandle Justice" is all about:haha: :haha: :haha:

    Bubba,

I don't know yet if I'm bringing a bike or not. Don't have one yet. I plan on getting one later this summer or early fall, depending on when the Yota gets paid off. Also depends, since I have already made up my mind on exactly what I'm gonna get if I will be able to find it before the 'Bash. All I know right now is that we are hauling a trailer up because Surpip has another set of tires to haul and we will have room for bikes if we have them by then.

What are you looking at? Do you want it more functional for street or dirt?

XR650R. I want more function in the dirt, but for all the dirt I have to ride in around here, it's gotta be street legal......................
