Black boxes for radio antenna?

    Has anyone heard anything about these? I came across one in the JCWhitney catalog, just wondering if they work or not. It would be nice, it would keep my truck with less holes for rust to find. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Black Box ??
    Unless they're talking about an antenna tuner I dont know what a "Black Box" is.

    If you are talking about these then don't waste your money.

    They use your regular am/fm antenna for the cb. They are almost worthless. You can get better performance from a 2ft magnetic antenna mounted inside the vehicle.

    If that's not what you're talking about the please explain a little better.
