For my 83. I have a blue one, but repainted the exterior yellow. Black would look better. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Anyone have experience with the LMC dash pads? much cheaper than OEM. Is it a case of getting what you pay for?

If its in good condition, you could get some black vinyl paint and repaint your blue one. You'd save a couple bucks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Does that stuff actually work and look decent? Is it like dye, or does it sit on top like paint (and flake off)?

I've used it on some plastic trim pieces. But they've been sitting in the garage for a year and half. Hasen't peeled at all yet. Hopefully will stay that way one they go back on the truck.

I have a black one from LMC or Chevy Duty (can't remember), it looks good, but I haven't installed it yet. If your blue dash is cherry, I'd be intersted in buying it.

It's in pretty good shape, but it does have one small crack adjacent to the center speaker holes, towards the front (hood) side. I can take some pics when it gets back from the paint shop if you're still interested.
