Who here has blacked out all of their chrome trim, and what did you use to do it? I am mainly interested in doing the aluminum around my rear sliders, but eventually want to do the whole thing. Any help with products would be much appreciated. Especially those that will allow me to painth the chrome. I HATE chrome!

Do it the easy way and just take it off /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

But if you want to black it out....just scuff the chrome with some sandpaper or a scotchbrite pad and paint with black paint /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I just scuffed up the surface and shot it with some rattle cans, it was easy and it looks great... /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
