I think your doors look awesome and the price looks pretty sweet too. The only thing I think you might benefit from is adding another vertical bar to span the top and bottom tubes close to the hinges.

I have a set of tube doors I bought of a good friend. He rock rashed the drivers door pretty hard and it tweaked. He had this vertical bar to span that area and I think if it wasn't there the doors would have been wasted completely and unusable.

I know most people who buy your tube doors will never rock rash them but for those of them that do I think alot of benefit could be had from having another small section of tube in the door.

81-91 only on the rock sliders? Are you planning on doing earlier models I hope?

Thanks for all the great feedback and questions everyone.

Hossbaby50 good point, I'll see what I can do. I will be making a different style too with one main piece with two bends and crossbraces, it should be stronger than this style.

Does anyone know if the door hinges on the 73'-75' are the same as 76' and up?

Desert Rat earlier models are in the works, it's all in the brackets. Earlier than 81' will probably work I just need to take some measurements of the frame rails to make sure everything is bolt on and hassle free.

    Thanks
    Jesse

The door hinges from a 73-75 should be the same as the newer style. I bought my tube doors off FWP and he has a 75 K5. I put the doors on my 85 K5 and they seem to work just fine.

Thats good to know Thanks Harley. So I assume the lower hinge has an angle on the bottom two bolt holes like the newer style.

Anyone have pictures of the door hinges on a 69-72 :ears:

I'd like to come and take a look at a set of doors if possible. I drive by your truck at least once a week.

sounds ok to me call my number on my website and we can set something up. What kind of truck do you have, year etc.? Another Humboldt CK5'er :cool1:

    Audiomaster

Bumpers are coming very soon. Rear tube bumpers with receiver, shackle mounts, and such. Then front winch bumpers, shackle mounts, light tabs. And eventually full plate bumpers for those that don't like the tube look.

    Thanks
    Jesse
