what color is your blazer? mine WAS that ugly a$$ gold color until I had every last trace media-blasted off...now it is the new chevy silverado light silver color...it's purdy...but it still doesn't run, if it ever warms up I'll go into the garage and put in the wiring harness and the other half billion things i have to do to the thing.

1970 GMC Jimmy 502HO/SM465/NP205 doesn't run just yet!

Mine is Medium Bronze Metalic with a black hard top. Bronze sounds much better than ugly a$$ gold. I actually like it.

  4. I've thought about painting mine that color, I'd like to see what it looks like. Got any pictures you could post?

Mine is the stock blue with a white top

It looks good from 10' away - but pretty bad up close - oh-well though - I don't have to worry about scratches from tree branches now!

Mine was originally Ochre (O-kree, baby-poop yellow, diarrhea yellow, etc.). It's currently a metallic grey (previous owner said it was a F*rd color) over black. The top is black under some white paint I threw on (the black paint is peeling - looks to have been painted several times and at least one time it was dirty). Interior is black.

It's white right now, but eventually it will be blue with a white top. I have a few things to do before I get to paint though. The interior is an ugly green. It will be blue (dash) and gray.

Mine's currently "Maui Blue"(?) --medium metallic blue, not quite as saturated as Ultramarine Blue, a later GM hue.[That color, and the noisy glass packs that were on the rig gave me its' handle.] Originally it was that Bronze color, but the previous owner had it painted. It looked cool until I thrashed the exterior by actually 4-wheelin' in it. Oh well.
My favorite Chevy color is 516 Orange. I bought my stepside because it was that color.
