Does anyone know if a pre 1973 hard top will fit on the full convertible 1974 blazer. The pre-73 hard tops had the fold up hatch in the back and the 73 and up have the tailgate with the roll-up window.

Has anyone ever tried to fit the old top on the newer full convertible?

    Thanks for any help.

    Scott.

I'm almost positive that they won't fit.

I don't think Ive ever heard of ayone trying, and have wondered the same thing. If nothing else you could have someone with a first gen top measure the bolt holes and width/length to see. Keep us informed if nobody knows for sure, if they don't fit you might be able to make it with alittle fabricating...[IMG]

Sorry, but I'm positive it won't fit. Where it attaches to the windshield frame is different, the side rails are different lengths, around the doors is different and maybe even the width is different.
