Any one know what a whole blazer weighs? I want to pull my body from the truck to work on it, I need to know how heavy it is so I can figuer out what I need to pull it off. How much does the body alone weigh? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

go to the main page and click the specifications. It should have that info in there.

Mine weighs 5260 lbs with 3/4ton axles, 35" boggers, light weld rims, a bunch of heavy stereo stuff, 1/2 tank of fuel, and my 6'4" 160lbs butt sitting in the driver's seat. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

My '75 with no top, 1/2 ton axles, and 31's weighs in right around 4,000. It probably should be 4,200, but only half of the body is there due to rust. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

I read the info on the specifications on the main page. Why are the first generation blazers lighter than the others? Is it the body? the frame? or the drivetrain?
