This is a new thread for the Southern California Blazer Safari 2001 being held at Truckhaven Hills on October 5-7 weekend. (It was formerly known as "Blazer Fest 2001 Part II - Tierra del Sol")

This is where we will be posting new updates and anything to do with the plans for our weekend get together at Truckhaven Hills, so be sure to check back frequently. And for those of you that have not responded yet, please do so and confirm your presence at this fun event! I have a list going, I would love to add more names to it!

We are hoping to make the Blazer Fest up in Hollister a regular event every year, and now we feel that we can and should make this "Blazer Safari" down here in So Cal a regular event also!!

And all those who attend must pay tribute to me for naming this fine event. Small trinkets and offerings will be acceptable. Coronas, burgers, 38's, a Dana 60, for example will satisfy the gods and gaurentee a good trip will be had by all. Otherwise i just might have to borrow that produce gun and run rampant in the desert.

Hey Leland I think I'll have one of those "produce" guns made by then so you can borrow mine.[IMG] That'll be my contribution.

That was for the headers with y pipe and some work added to that so it'd fit with the lift... new cat, new muffler and the pipes, hangers... plus labor. So all in all it wasn't that crazy of a price! [IMG]

A friend of mine has a GPS that I can barrow whenever I want. I brought it to Hollister but only used it to find out how far off my speedo is (when it says 55 I am really doing like 70....I need gears bad!).

Talked to AZblazer last night, and he told me about this happening. Checked today and it's 250 miles from my place- COOL. I should be able to swing it.

Help me out with a few details please.

    1. Gas available nearby?

    2. Water, ice, food, beer[IMG] available nearby?

    3. Average temperature?

    4. Any other must bring items for this area?

    Looking forward to it[IMG]
