Today my 94 K5 rear end gave out. It was pretty crappy timing since we had our first snow today and I need to
take it to california in a week and a half for Thanksgiving
to see the family. Anyway, it is a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
and a posi. If anyone has a 10 bolt 3.73 ring and pinion
and carrier posi or not they would like to sell I would be
very appreciative. I could wire the money as this is something I would need asap. Thanks everyone. Brian

I've got a carrier. It's got a Gov-loc in it, but it's your's if you want it. I'm gonna keep the gears, there too trashed to give away, I'm currently using them as paper weights. I've got one little bitty question though. Why don't you go grab the [censored] out of your storage unit and slap that it?

Anywho, lemme know if you want the carrier

I appreciate your offer and if I can't find someone who has
everything all togather I will take you up on that. The reason I don't put the stuff in my storage unit in is because everything I have is 8 lug and that would be a lot
more of a project than I currently have the time for. BTW
is the carrier in good shape? and what do you want for it?

If you'll pay the shipping, you can have it. Don't normally give [censored] away, but for a fella in need, it's your's. The carriers in fine shape. One snag, it's 30 spline. Didn't think of that before. If it will work and you need it, let me know

Thanks Kyle, I will try to find out what my axle shafts are
unfortunately everything I know about the corporate 10 bolt
wouldn't even fill up the cover of a match book.

Brian's 60s-your 10 bolt should be 30 spline. They started switching overfrom 28 to 30 in 1989 and by '91, I think most were 30, so by '94, you should be fine.

Thanks for the info. I checked with Randy's ring and Pinion
and it is a 30 splin. Kyle, I would appreciate if you could
give my your address so I can send you some cash. Also I am
still looking for some 3.73 gears to anyone who has some.
    Thanks

Looks like Kyle's got you taken care of on the carrier and gov lock, I would suggest that you go to a local axle shop to get your ring and pinion, you could probably pick up a set for around $130 and a bearing set for another $80 or so.
