its because you cant post a pic from a site that uses popups and webshots uses popups the popups kill the pic link /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

steve did not turn the pic posting function off he just made it so you cant put a pic in the mebers gallery and link it from there because it uses the sites bandwidth!!!!!!!!!! if its hosted on another site you can post the pic just fine as long as said site dont have any popups. when its hosted on another site it dont use any of steves bandwidth

Still contemplating tires - something in the 36" - 38" range - figured if I was going to do it - may as well go ridiculous (for me)

Going with 8" lift, 10 bolt in front, 14 bolt in rear, hi-steer / cross-over steering setup. Also planning to replace all the brake & fuel lines with SS at this time. Then I may try and talk the wife into a new engine! - oh and new garage doors so I can fit the dang thing in! My current doors are 7' tall - going to an 8' setup

    Basically a "frame-in" restoration

38s are a bit much for a front 10-bolt... unless you are building a mall cruiser.

Yeah I know about that, but can't afford the Dana 60 - had to buy the wheels instead!

    Probably will be 37s though...

38's will last on a 10 bolt, it all depends on how you use the petal, And knowing when to shutdown, and winch your ass out..... i beat on a 10 bolt pretty good with 38"s. im sure you already know this but... The straighter you have your tires, the harder it is to break the ujoint.

or u could just go to a 35-splined, detroit locked, rebuilt D60 and then put them 38s on there. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
