Just noticed the Art Carr, new or old? How are you liking it if you've had it on a ride?

Its old, there is a thread on here about it and my manual VB. I even think you posted in it:haha:

As for how I like it.......I LOVE IT, I can be all twisted up and just flick it into any gear. One of the best mods yet!!

    Its a Stak 2 spd. 1:1 and 5.44:1.

As for how it fit, well It fit fine with the above floor cutting. It is bolted straight to a stock 208 adapter.

It is a 2 speed. There are only 2 levers. The 3 speed has 3 levers much like a Doubler with a twin stick 205.

Of course I would need a stak or a doubler where I could only use Front wheel drive. I have not figured out how to do that with my 208:D :doah: .

how well do they work? I am switching to disc's in the rear and now would be the time. 14ff w/detroit is the locker going to have an effect? I would think it defeats the purpose of the cutting brakes.
