The blower moter that I replaced last year went out last night.
I figured that it couldn't be bad yet and after checking that I had power to it I pulled the moter.
I drilled out the 4 rivets holding it together and found that the rivet holding the ground strap on the brush was loose and not getting contact.
5 pop rivets later and it was pushing air again.
Altogether a 45 minute job. [IMG]
Looking at the backside of the rivet it was burnt from to much resistence.
Just something to look for on a blower moter that doesn't work.

I did the same thing. I guess I need to stop reading Car Craft and Super Chevy so much.

good deal. unfortunately usually when mine "go out" they just start a high pitched squeal on the low setting. MAN that is annoying.
