Finally got a chance to start back working on the project beast and do some work to the bed bob. All I lack is a little bracing, the fuel cell, and 1/2" bolts for the nice poly body mounts (thanks Wheels!)

    And here's a pic. I'm tired...see yall.

lol it looks much better in the pics than in real life. But hey it's just a beater and it works for me. Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll get more pics up as the work progresses. I've got a running set of pics from the whole bob issue that I'll do a write up with, just thought I'd put that one up there to remind everyone i really do have a truck!

Why didn't you weld the orginal rear panel with tailights back on? It looks like you fabbed the rear panels with after market lights.

Cause I wanted to be different [IMG][IMG]

Plus that back piece is HEAVY, I dont intend to run a tailgate, I think the new pieces look cool, and as soon as I had the back piece laying in the floor I said, i'm going to build this into a porch glider for my new house. LOL. I'll have pics of THAT up in a month or so as well.... I guess the main reason for this design is that I have the tooling available to make it happen on the cheap and I liked the looks of it. and the patio furniture is getting old.

    Where's this other pic at?

Looks pretty cool. Been toying with the idea, but I hate to give up the space. Most of my buddies have Heeps and Samuris, so I usually end up with the party wagon. Maybe after I finish the new high clearance rockers and the cage.

haha kyle. i'm going to try to get to the disney run but I'm not too sure yet. I'm getting married in 2-1/2 weeks, trying like mad to get the truck running by that time, and taking 14 hours of summer school. Plus working 5 hours a day, "researching" on ck5 and por, and trying to find time to eat and sleep. If I dont make disney, I'll almost certainally be at the Clayton bash in september! You gonna be there?

you better think twice before you invite me and the sawzall up. I'm a demon. Looking at all the problem areas of the truck, I cut my exhaust under the truck 2 nights ago, took more off the fenders, and am resisting the urge to hack the top for full convert. I'm going to do it sure, but it'll have to wait. What do you have to get done on yours?

Thats gonna look sweet when yer done.Fabbing new end caps for the bed looks easier and lighter than reinstalling the rear of the bed.Keep us posted on the progress.

God damn, I said God damn. Dude, that's nice. How 'bout a side shot? I'd be nice to see how much you hacked off.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build!
