I’m getting ready to put a 2” body lift on my diesel K5 this Saturday. I have never done a body lift before, so this is all new to me. Do you guys have any tips for this process? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Don't use an impact on the body bolts.
Pre-soak all the body bolts with PB Blaster or other penetrant now.
Check everything before actually lifting the body.
    Fuel filler hose,
Fan shroud will need trimming on the bottom
    Check all fuel lines
Tranny and T-case linkages will need lengthening or adjusting.
Also check all the wiring, you don't want to inadvertantly rip a wire out or anything.

I coated all my new body bolts with graphite grease before putting them in, plus I did the same with the new bushings and spacers. I don't have any body squeaks...

That's about all i can think of at the moment.
