I didnt have to do anything to the t-case shifter. I did weld the extention into the trans linkage, but the t-case didnt need any adjustment. BTW, I did a 2" BL

I have a 3in and had to cut my rod and add in a drop of 3 inches.

I never have gotten it adjusted right, it creeps out of 4hi when I get on the gas and the motor and tranny twist, but stays in 4low fine.

Im gonna adjust it better if I ever get my tranny back from the shop.

IMO mounting the shifter to the floor and going to the case was a bad idea on GMs part. Should have been mounted to the case like a 205.

I installed a Precision Accessories 2" a month or so ago. The only thing I did was weld the extension on the trans linkage. Also, don't forget to take out your fan shroud & put in a spacer or something. I overheated my motor as my fan was bound & wouldn't even move.

What if I just space the entire assembly down 3 inches? Has anyone ever done this?
