body lift

    i was plannin on puttin a 3" body lift on my '77 K5, well i did the 4" suspension myself. anyway, i've never done the body lift before, is there any tips or anything to watch for or somethign i can do to make things go easier? or should it be pretty easy anyway? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    They are pretty simple to do. On a '77 not much wiring to worry about. Biggest things: shift linkage, fan shroud sometimes hits the bottom of the fan, and make sure you support the body well when you jack it up. I always used a 2X4. If I missed anything somebody will correct me. Hope it helps.
