anyone had welded-in body mount bolts (head of bolt welded to floor). What is the best way to remove without replacing sections of floor?

grind it flat with the floor on both sides and drill a new hole. Thats what I'd do. Make sure you measure where the hole is before you grind the head off.

The rear 4 in the bed area were tack welded to the floor. Took the angle grinder to the welded area, then drilled a hole, slightly larger than the bolt diameter, through the head of the bolt. 2 smacks with a hammer and drift, and they were out.

I just used a dremel to cut through the tack welds, and the bolts came out. Just make sure you get the entire weld broken, or the bed will "rip".

That's the only place mine (all?) were welded.

I only a few of them are welded. I will post-up once I give it another shot. Thanks for the input.
