What do yall use for body shims? Also, where can I get them? Reason I ask is that I just replaced my body mounts with energy suspension and also removed my 3" body lift for a 1" body lift from ORD. But when I look at the truck, in the front and rear, the body is tilted to one side by maybe a 1/4". I figure I just need to put something under there on one side to have it sit level. My passenger door is harder to close now b/c of this. Thanks for the help.

The stock shims on my rig a basically square washers, i'm sure you could get awaywith using a large washer from a local HWstore to do the trick!
    Good luck

Yo ucould also fix it by putting a small block or some edger blades under the springs or the sagging side

Mine is lower on the left side by almost an inch. Has anyone done shims on one side like Boss suggested?

Hey 89', This past weekend I just put really big washers as the shims. They were like 4" in diameter. It worked great. Until I misjudged it and then had the lower side become about 1" higher than the other. Pissed me off. But then I fixed that problem. Works great though.

Thanks Boss. Is changing mounts easy? I don't have to disconnect anything other than the mounts do I? (the ones that are left, three fell out)

yeah, its real easy, but a paint in the ass at the same time. I did a tech article on it on my web page, but I'm not done my webpage yet. I'll give you the url to give you a sneak peek of it though. Let me know if you want to see it. It has a bunch of pics and detailed write up on what to do. I couldn't put all 30 pics I took on the thing though. The only thing that will slow you down, is if you have any bolts that are rusted to the nuts and then you strip the nut. I had that happen to me 4 times. Had to use the grinder. Besided that, very easy, no disconnecting of anything whatsoever. Good luck and let me know if you want a sneak peek of my site.
