I am in the process of restoring a 73 K5 and need suggestions for a shop in Austin Texas. Most body shops don't like working on ol' rigs. I have the traditional cancer on the floor boards, rocker panels and a few dents. Any suggestions on a shop that would work with me would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    D-

Haul it to Dumas and have Jimenez Auto Creations do the work. One of the best in the nation.

    No love in A-town?

Gents! Thought I would ask again for your help to find someone in austin that would assist in preparing my 73 for paint and rhinolining. I have floor board rust and rocker panel issues. Guessing I need to cut out and replace with new lower guage sheet metal and therefore someone who welds would probably be sufficient. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.......

I took my 72 to Reyes Auto Collision in Kyle. Martin did excelent work including shaving my AC vents in the dash and general rust repair and a full paint job. He takes a little longer than most because he works on it between colision repair jobs. He is also resonably priced. I think his # is 512-268-8300. 22604 South IH-35 Kyle, TX 78640

Here are some links to picks of my Blazer, Just ignore the jeeps, I have to...
