bolt for saw blade on compound miter saw

    i came across a craftsman compound miter saw i didnt know i had, its missing the bolt and washer that retians the saw blade, the ones off the circular saw that died on me is too big for it, what can i do ?

    especially about the blade washer ?

    Isn;t the blade washer just a regular washer with the sides ground off? Errrrrrr maybe that's on my chop saw......

    Id just find a shouldered bolt that fits it.

    The retainer bolt on my Mitre saw is a left hand thread dealy. If it's Craftsman you can pull the numbers off it and order the small parts from Sears. Probably not even expensive...
