I want to get a big 'ol boom box to take with me wheeling and camping. I've looked at JVC's Kaboom series, but I'm not quite sure I want something that big that draws a lot of amps. What do you guys (and gals) have, if anything? Thanks for your opinions!

OK people - I've been gone for 4 days now and nobody has an opinion on boom boxes? I thought this bunch had an opinion on EVERYTHING! (including some VERY trivial sh*t! IMHO)

Fine. i would definately go for one of those kaboom boxes, a guy at my work has one and it kicks A$$. great bass, nice mids and highs, of what can be expected from a portable radio. pretty durable too, saw one vibrate off the top of a lifted pickup and it kept on playin, didnt even skip the CD. well thats it.

Mention something trivial and Eagle86 will surely chime in.

dewalt makes a cd player radio tape boom box that can stand anything it is waterproof it is made of heavy plastic and metal its got a tube shape also its got neat stuff like a light and other things they sound good you canrun it off a power outlet from your truck or its battery source which you can charge by plugging it into the socket. you van get it at lowes or home depot ps it was made for a construction site and it had to be strong and durrable
