I put some AC Delco's in my 84. I can't remember the brand they replaced, but I couldn't be happier. All 8 were gapped properly right out the box and work like a champ!

I'm not a fan of Accel, but they make a short spark plug that is great if you have headers. Don't burn the boot.

I run only AC Delco plugs in my Chevys and that's what I usually recommend to my customers as well. That's what belongs in there and I've never had a customer comeback or complaint that way.

Other brands on the other hand, I get check engine light complaints, cylinder misfire codes after only a few days or weeks, etc.

GM knows what goes in your engine. I trust their judgement myself.
