    Anybody else see that button directly above the "New users please click here before registering" line? What is the purpose of it?

    HAHAHAHA ... I like that Boss-Button. Imagine you're sitting at your desk in the office, dreaming of the various enhancements you could do to your rig, and - of course - reading each and every message on the board. Suddenly your boss comes in trying to bother you with something as unimportant as the dayly business. Before he (or she, to be pc) comes round your desk and can see Your screen, you step on the Boss-Button and voila, really looks like work (as long as your boss is computer - illiterate).
