Bought a boat last weekend and finally had some time to post some pics:

    2000 Maxum 1900SC 19' Cuddy Cabin Mercruiser 5.0 FI 260HP only 75 Hrs.

Everything ran great, got it up to 50 MPH no problem even at 8,000 feet. No fish first time out, hope that's not a sign of things to come.

You mean the BOSS? It was only due to her being uncharacteristically laid back that I got the damn thing. Although I think she has other motives, she keeps saying that we should start trying for kid #2 earlier than planned since we got the boat.

On a side note, I was surprised how affordable it can be, couple hundred a month to own and I just got rid of one of the cars @ $325/mo so it seemed like a no brainer.

Set me back just over $17K, NADA with all options was just over $20K, so I figure I did OK. I would have fought harder had it been a dealer owned boat but it was a consignment. I made the offer, they said it was below what they were authorized to take so I walked and they called the owner and called me back and said OK. I figure he had to owe pretty damn close to that at least as I found his invoice in the paperwork and he paid a little over 32K for it new early 2001. God, I just thought about that, he paid 15K to use that boat for 75 hrs, less than 20 hrs a year. That means he spent $200/hr to run that boat. :eek1:

I probably won't head to Powell until later in the season, it's hotter than crap there now. I'm thinking Blue Mesa and Flaming Gorge while it's this hot.

And yes, it can most definitely tow a skier, I'll be getting a tube and probably a wakeboard this week. Fishing was slow yeterday and some toys to play in the water would have been nice.

Thanks for all the positive responses guys!
