[IMG] Anyone run these ??? Been looking at the Summit website pricing a new dual exhaust system. Don't need these tips, but they are kinda cool looking. What y'all think ???

They look like they would be kinda restricting... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
Really pump up the 'bling' factor though /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I think it takes a certain type of vehicle to run those. In my eyes, a lifted K5 is not that vehicle. Nice looking though.

I think it is more ebonics than gibberish. I'm not sure if I'm 100% accurate or not and I think there is some regional variation on slang but around here, a dub is a rim that is 20" or bigger. Bling means money I think. Does that help homie? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I believe dub is 20" double dubs are 22" IIRC /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif We laughingly discuss these rims at work lol /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif....Oh yeah and Spinners we always get a good laugh about those rims...the one that keep spinning after you stop. There is even a whole song about them...go to Kazaa and search for "ridin spinnas" It is an unbearably long song all about rims makes we wanna lay down on the hiway /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif...oops sorry about the hijack..Ive been drinkin

But a lifted burb is /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. Maybe my burb at least. I dont know if you can see it in my webshots pic but my burb has these chrome panels all along the bottom of the body. The PO put them on. Those plus the chrome grill gaurd make for a fairly reflective truck. I like it though, just the right amount of chrome for me /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I always thought dubs were 20s and deuces were 22s. That is what my brother's friends call them, at least. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

[/ QUOTE ] The way I see it, it should almost double the flex. But serously, I probley won't get the Bowtie tips, but I do like them. I might get the "Meg's" megaphone tips just becouse they really make some noise when you mash on the go pedal. Those in combo with Thorley's and dual exhaust through Flowmasters 40's should wake up the nieborhood. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
