Is it possible to use the front hanger from rear spring of a 2wd '74 Suburban as the rear hanger on my rear spring of my '79 Blazer for approximately 4" of lift? Thanks!!

As long as the standoff from the frame (spring distance outboard) is the same, and the bolt hole for the shackle bolt is the same distance below the frame, then, yes, it will work and give you a roughly 4" lift. It's basically the same as cutting the stock shackle and flipping the shackle through, it just looks nicer and the hanger is stronger. As for the specifics of a sub, I don't know, never looked. Just use those two criteria when checking mounts and you will be fine.
