One of the local 4x4 Yota owners has a Braden winch for sale. I dont know the model number or anything on it. He says its motor is not working and it looks just like a starting motor. Anyone have any idea what they are about. I know its big, and that its old.

its the older 8000 warn series i have one known as a 8271 the model before the 8274 it works AWESOME!!! i got mine for free but i mean it all depends on the model number really alot of guys dont like the 8271 cause of the hand brake on them but its a awesome winch pulls hard and strong but they arnt worth much anymore

Buddy wants $200 and it needs the motor rebuilt. Does that sound fair?

mmm see if he will go lower like 130$.... 200$ is kinda pricey for it needing a motor
