I hope to pull out my rear drive shafts to get to the bottom of my noisy truck.

I have checked the rear diff, the front diff and drive train, and have found out that the problem is the rear axle, maybe a bearing.

anyhow I'm gonna pull it apart but I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of the internals of the break assembly to help me ?

    It's a '89 K1500 10bolt

No need to pull the brakes apart to get the shafts out, all you have to do it pop the drums off. Real easy to do, no disassembly of the guts is required.

The entire brake assembly unbolts if you just want to get them out of the way for some reason. If you need to work on them and have not memorized how they go back together, do one side at a time so you have a reference to look at.
