brake caliper

    help i stripped the top sliding bolt on the back of the caliper wit teh torx head, whats a trick to getting it out now? thanx.

    Most blazer clalipers use a big allen head socket not a torx but anyway....

    One somewhat easy fix is a pair of vise grips clamped as tight at you can get 'em and try not to cuss too much.

    On mine... the head just broke off last weekend. I just put the tire back on and need to fix it after this weekend's vacation.
    Gunna be a pain.
