Brake Fluids

    Just wondering how many people out there are running DOT 5 brake fluid. Reason is thats what I have in my M1009 and I am considering converting to DOT three. Dot 5 is almost $80.00 per quart over here and it is probably economical to make the change. Thanks Gary...

    I use Dot 5 but it because I do some deep creek crossings and the silicone cuts down on rust in the calipers-otherwise I would use dot 3
