I am having a problem with the brake lights on my 73. I've checked the fuses and bulbs and all seem to be good(replaced fuses and bulbs for good measure). The running lights and blinkers work fine. Any ideas?

My brother's F*rd does this also, anyone know what the problem is? I told him to try changing the bulb. It's just when he touches the brake, his left rear taillight goes out...

the guy with the ford i would say definatly has a short some where i would trace the wires from the fusebox back to the tail light that keeps going out

I was reading about an adjustment for the switch under the pedal and I never thought to check to see if it was actually even touching.

You probably have a broken wire somewhere if the fuse is good... Get a test light and strat seeing where you have power to... these trucks love to get broken wires under the back bumper area and where they go on top of the gas tank. I have to totally rewire mine cause I keep losing the driver's side break light
