Brake Lights

    I have a 1981 Chevy Blazer that the Brake Lights aren't working, I just bought some new ones and they still don't work. The weird thing is that the Parking & Turn Signal ligts work just not the Brake Lights Any idea's!!!

    if the turn signals are working the wiring and connections from the turn signal switch back must be ok. it must be the brake light fuse, brake light switch, or turn signal switch that is the problem, or a wiring problem between the fuse and turn signal switch . it could be as simple as the brake light switch being out of adjustment.

    Most likely the brakelight switch - I just replaced mine last weekend. $6.47 including tax from Pep Girls, and it took about 15 minutes. I did end up with the top of my hand held together with tape, after finding a really sharp sheetmetal screw poking through the dash[​IMG], so be careful!!
