brake lights

    Having problem with my brakelights won't work cheched out switch is ok but no power on either wire [orange and white wires] which is the hot wire and where does it get power from? Is it fused?

    Don't believe brakes are fused, and orange is usually 12v constant. (dome lights, cig lighter, etc)

    What wire are you refering to? The one that goes into the tail light plug or the ones coming out of the fuse box? On my 85 it has green, yellow, and brown wires going to the tail light. If you had your profile filled out we would know a little more about you and your vehicle.

    thanks, I had lost power to the orange wire on the brake light switch.
