Brake problems .need help please!!!

    I replaced one of the front calipers on my 97 tahoe and I bled all 4 corners and after I was done the truck just does.nt stop the same .The pedal is extremely spongy and close to the floor .I checked all the fittings twice and bled them twice and still no improvement.What could it be I am my wits end.Thanks for any help in advance...........

    what you need to do is bleed them again starting with the farthest one from the master cylinder first. After you have done that jack up the rear end and adjust the star washer till your brake shoes drag on the inside of the drum surface. you want to have a decent drag on the drum. if you cant hardley turn the drum you have adjusted them to far.     Just a reminder on power brakes don't bleed with the truck on. I discovered that when I was bleeding mine.
