Brake Specs for 87 Custuim deluxe

    If there were no previous conversions would i have 4 discs?
    Or 2 front disc and 2 back drums? What are the specs for brakes stock?? Thanks.

    6in 87' K5 w/ 35" BFG muds.

    What I need: 4.11 gears, Lim Slip Dif, Force2 Catback, rear springs , Throtle body spacer.

    4 wheel disc was not offered in that year.If you have it then it has been converted.The stock setup was disc front and drum (11") rear.

    Correct, but 11" drums only on the 1/2 tons.

    3/4 tons had 13" drums.

    Hrmm.... the previous owner gave me a reciept for 2 disc pad sets one was 22 dollars the other was 27 from O-reaily autoparts doesx that mean he mighta converrted to discs? Im gunna just take off the wheels sometime next month to make sure and to clean. Thanks.

    A receipt wont tell you or me anything.

    You need to crawl under the truck and look at the rearend to see if it has drums or disc.

    BTW, if you have a reciept for two different pads, then the previous owner could possibly have bought another set for a different vehicle at the same time. Who knows?
